CDFL Ready for week 2
CDFL READY for Week 2-By Dr. Bill Chachkes
After history was made last week during the CDFL's opening weekend, it was a quiet week of reflection and preparation for week two. On our bi-weekly CDFL coaches show Tuesday night on Blogtalkradio (link at the bottom) WR/DB Jon Fox of the Orange Sprit spoke about what it felt like to make the first TD catch in League History."I just went to the "Green" on the field(an uncovered zone in the defense) and Ty(Landrum) found me open and got me the ball." We also herd from Rod Mergardt from Max Preps (maxpreps.com) and Coaches George and Peter St. Lawrence, the co-founders of The CDFL, as well as Recruiting coordinator Coach Eric Sillen in interviews we did after the CDFL draft on July 9th.
